Jeffrey Roeth is one of three founding partners of Layer 2 Communications and has served as President & COO since its inception in January of 2007. He is a serial entrepreneur who has been actively involved within the I T industry since the summer of 1998.

Roeth is an active member within the Houston community and industry related organizations such as: Downtown Houston Rotary Club, American Marketing Association, The Houston Ad Federation, Texchange, Bio/Medical Technology Club, The Entrepreneur Institute, Houston Technology Center, and the Greater Houston Partnership Marketing Committee.

He previously served as Head of Institutional Trading of fixed income securities with a variety of regional Texas investment houses. His trading specialty was focused in Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) and Collateralized Mortgage Obligation (CMO) derivatives. Mr. Roeth earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance from Sam Houston State University.
